Free Reading Celebrating Playwright Alan Ayckbourn's 75th birthday Tonight

TONIGHT: The first reading of a new tribute show AYCKBOURN AT 75: A THEATRICAL BIRTHDAY PARTY.

The show traces his remarkable career through excerpts from some of his best-loved plays, including ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR, HOUSE & GARDEN and THE NORMAN CONQUESTS. The evening also includes an exclusive excerpt from his very first play, 1959’s THE SQUARE CAT - never before heard in the USA! Presented by a talented company of six (all with extensive Ayckbourn credits on their resumes), this show will delight fans and enlighten those new to his work.

The cast features Holmdel favorites Cody Dalton and Volney Stefflre in a company that includes Kelly Maizenaski, David Neal, Juliann DiPietro-Renshaw, and director Michael T. Mooney, who also staged previous Holmdel readings of Ayckbourn’s HOUSE & GARDEN and SISTERLY FEELINGS

Tonight! Monday April 7 @7:00 p.m. Admission is FREE. Coffee will be served.
