Free Preventive Dental Care for Children this Saturday Jan 25th at Marquette

The 12th annual Give Kids a Smile Screening Day will take place this Saturday at Marquette in Milwaukee from 9 am to noon on a first come first serve basis. The Wisconsin Dental Association states that doors will close earlier if capacity is reached sooner. Some necessary follow-up treatment appointments will be made for Feb. 7 which is the official Give Kids A Smile® Day.

Dental exams, teeth cleanings and fluoride treatments will be provided at no charge to low-income children ages 3 to 16 at Marquette University School of Dentistry, 1801 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee.

Volunteers include 50 Greater Milwaukee Dental Association dentists, along with 145 auxiliary dental hygienists and assistants, dental and hygiene students and other helpers.

600 children are expected to receive dental care Saturday.
