President’s Day is a national holiday that is celebrated in the United States. The annual event, held on the third Monday of February, is actually a combination of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington’s birthdays. In 1971, President Richard Nixon combined the two February birthdays into one national holiday known as President’s Day.
Since many children will be home from school on the holiday, why not entertain them with some free online activities that are also educational? - American Presidents Hangman Game - Players only have 60 seconds or 10 wrong guesses to solve this presidential puzzle. Players must guess both the first and last names before time runs out.
