The College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno is featuring a free photography exhibit through May, 2014. The exhibit has a somewhat unwieldy title, but it clearly tells you what it's all about - "'Just One More Shot' Images of Iconic Nevada Wildlife and Scenery." The photos are by UNR alumni John W. King and Patricia Priest King.

For those of you not familiar with Nevada, this exhibit will acquaint you with the amazing variety of landscapes and wildlife just waiting for the inquisitive photographer. The speedy pronghorn antelope, wild horses, and majestic desert bighorn sheep are all here, surrounded by landscapes as varied as the Sierra Nevada, sagebrush steppe, and Mojave Desert.

In addition to College of Science, the exhibit is presented by the Nevada Legacy Society. It is on display at the Davidson Math and Science building, first floor, and open to the public from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, email Lauren Siri at Lsiri@unr.edu or call (775) 682-6002.
