Ok folks we have a big weekend coming up. There are many unique events going on around town to get your ready for this extended weekend. Outdoor film screenings or concerts, you decide.
Free Movie Nights in the Plaza at Sundance Square downtown Fort Worth continue. This week’s film screening is the fun and sweet, culinary film:

Film will begin at dusk, (approximately) 8:30 PM. This is a family friendly film screening. Make sure to register for the $500.00 grand prize gift card giveaway which will take place on July 31, 2014.
No outside food or drink allowed but you are encouraged to bring your blanket or lawn chairs. Another friendly reminder, make sure to take some bug repellent since this is an outdoor event.
Downtown Fort Worth
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth screens critically acclaimed films every weekend. These films are shown all weekend, with half price tickets offered for the noon performance on Sunday. This week’s film is:
- A Hard Day’s Night (1964)
- July 3, 2014
- 7:30 PM (DJ music and celebration)
Because of the 4th of July holiday there will not be a Friday screening. Instead there will be an outdoor screening on Thursday night. So, dust off your bell bottoms and headbands, grab a blanket (no lawn chairs allowed) and head on over to the Modern. Go celebrate 50 years of The Beatles.
No outside food or coolers will be allowed. Concessions will be available for purchase or you can pre-order a picnic package. BUY TICKETS HERE! The screening will begin at 8:30 PM It will be outdoors, so make sure to bring your bug repellent.
Ticket price: $10.00 ($9.00 if purchased in advance) Discount tickets available for Modern Members and Reel People.
If you cannot attend the Thursday show, there will be additional screenings on Saturday, July 5th and Sunday July 6th in the Magnolia Theatre.
