Experts report that with early detection, 97% of breast cancers that have not spread beyond the breast can be successfully treated, so early detection is a crucial part in the fight against the disease.

Without health insurance, the cost of a yearly mammogram can be prohibitive for many women, putting their health - and lives - in danger. But there is help.
