About now many people are getting cabin fever and want to get outside, in nature. There is a fun and free opportunity to be able to do just that coming up on March 9, 2014.
The U.W. Arboretum is offering a free nature hike titled "Mud". A naturalist will lead the hike and describe how to look for animal tracks and why so much mud occurs in spring.
It begins at 1:30 p.m. on March 9, plan on meeting at the Visitor Center. It will last an hour and be sure to dress accordingly.
The Arborteums' Visitor Center is located at 1207 Seminole Highway, Madison. The phone number is (608) 263 - 7888. The website to get more information is http://uwarboretum.org.
