Free mp3 - "Black Metallic" by The Catherine Wheel's Rob Dickinson

Black Metallic, the single of The Catherine Wheel's Ferment album, peaked at number nine on the Billboard Modern Rock charts back in 1992. Today, The Catherine Wheel is no longer around, but lead singer Rob Dickinson still plays their songs solo (the download is Rob's acoustic version). He was recently signed to Universal Music Canada, and the CEO of the label personally asked him to add a bonus disc to his album, Fresh Wine for Horses of classic The Catherine Wheel songs. The songs maintain their relevance and power, even after more than 15 years.

Come check out Rob Dickinson, at his only scheduled show in Austin, September 25th at Mixx (just east of Emo's on 6th street). Lost Werks, Buttercup, and Stereo is a Lie will be there to provide local support.
