Briarcliff Village’s free movie nights start at dusk (8:30 to 9:00 p.m.) all summer long at Briarcliff Village - Mulberry Lake (US 169 Hwy & Briarcliff Parkway) in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Legends 14 Theaters in Kansas City, Kansas has movies Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Movies start at 10:00 a.m.

o July 13 & 14: Curious George (G) and Aliens in the Attic (PG)
o July 20 & 21: March of the Penguins (G) and Alvin and the Chipmunk the Squekqual (PG)

The Pharaoh Theater on the Independence Square has free concerts and outdoor movies every Thursday night throughout the summer. Films are shown on a big screen at the side of the theater and they begin at 9:00 p.m.
o July 1 movie: Kung Fu Panda at 9:00 p.m. (band The Doo Dads performs at 6:30 p.m.)
o July 8 movie: Alive & The Chipmunks, “The Squeakquel,” at 9:00 p.m. (band BaliRoot performs at 6:30 p.m.)
o July 15 movie: The Princess & The Frog at 9:00 p.m. (performance of fire art from Vesuvius Tribe begins at 7:40 p.m. and the band Four Fried Chickens and a Coke performs at 6:30 p.m.)

City Market has two free summer movie showings at 3rd and Main in Kansas City, Missouri that start at 9:00 p.m.

Crown Center is hosting free Friday night movies. Movies start at about 9:00 p.m. at Crown Center Square in Kansas City, Missouri.

    Thanks for writing this out! With two kids, it's always nice to know when some inexpensive films are being shown around town. We take our kids to the AMC Independence Commons 20, since they have $1 shows on Wednesday mornings. It was great to read your site, though, as I've been looking for other showings in the area. Thanks, again!
