FREE Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest a great alternative to Black Friday shopping

Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest
Teaming up with Forward Motion Records and SoFloRadio.com to Benefit Habitat For Humanity of Greater Miami

If you're more into relaxing the day after Thanksgiving than fighting the shopping mob scene, check out the Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest! This incredible FREE event  returns to South Florida this year on Friday, November 25, 2011 with a great lineup of local talent and an array of great prizes.

For two decades, South Florida musicians and music lovers have eschewed “Black Friday” and spent a relaxing day enjoying music at the picturesque Greynolds Park. The all-day FREE concert includes a raffle to benefit Habitat For Humanity of Greater Miami.

The Lumpy Sue organizers share a vision with Forward Motion Records and SoFloRadio.com to promote the burgeoning music scene in South Florida, and the three entities are joining forces this year to make it the best year in the event’s history.

“Forward Motion Records is dedicated to the South Florida music scene,” said the record label’s founder, Fernando Perdomo, “Lumpy Sue is really a big part of that scene. It’s a place where local talent and the most enthusiastic audience comes together.”

Enthusiasm for the local scene defines much of what SoFloRadio.com Head Honcho Jorge Rodriguez touts on his web-based radio show – and internet radio station.

“Lumpy Sue proves that the term ‘Family Fun’ is not any oxymoron,” he said. “Do yourself and yours a favor by treating them to a day at the park like no other. Good Music, performed by good people to raise money for a good cause. It’s not to be missed!”

SoFloRadio.com talk show host Gina Martell returns as the emcee for the event.
