Kaitlyn Hunt, the Florida teen at the focus of the “Free Kate” movement, spent the night in jail. Accorrding to an Aug. 20 TCPalm report, Hunt and her parents went to her bail bondsman last night and requested she be jailed.
The plea deal which would have kept Kaitlyn out of jail was revoked yesterday after prosecution learned the no-contact order has been repeatedly violated. Hunt is due in court at 1 p.m. today. The former cheerleader faces additional criminal charges and jail time.
Hunt was arrested in February on charges related to having a sexual relationship with an underage girl at her high school. Kaitlyn was 18 and a legal adult. The other girl was a 14-year-old minor.
Hunt was not jailed while she awaits trial, but she was ordered to have no contact with the minor. Last week, prosecution shared proof of over 20,000 text messages between the girls, including pornographic videos of her self from Kaitlyn to the minor.
Do you think jail is the right place for Kaitlyn Hunt or do you support “Free Kate”?
