Many New Mexicans are struggling to find employment and it can be especially difficult for those who are new to navigating the new methods and requirements for applying to jobs. Many, if not most job applications are now online and often require a resume, even for a minimum wage job. For those looking for tips and assistance in how to applying for online jobs and creating a resume for employers, there is a job search workshop taking place at Albuquerque Bernalillo County libraries. Seats are limited and you must register for the workshop. The next workshop takes place August 27 and information can be found here. If registration is full, be sure to call anyway to sign up right away for the next one. Classes are free. They recommend bringing along your resume in a Word document if you have one.
