Free Irish activities in Old Pasadena on March 16 (Video)

Old Pasadena is kicking off St. Patrick's Day early on Saturday, March 16, 2013, with Irish activities and performances in the courtyard of One Colorado. The free festivities start at 3 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. Bring the family.

Get in the swing of things when Clearly Irish Dance performs some traditional Irish dances at 3 p.m. Learn how to become a lord of the dance with the interactive lesson that follows. Riverdance attire is optional!

Celtic band, Straw Boys, plays live music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Irish and Scottish jigs and reels, Manx and Welsh tunes, original songs, and a few American numbers are all part of their repertoire.

If you visit One Colorado before March 15, use your camera to capture Lucky the Leprechaun, the St. Paddy's Day mascot, who will be hiding in plain sight at One Colorado. Upload your picture of Lucky to the Lucky the Leprechaun Facebook page here, for a chance to win what's in his pot of gold. Winners will be announced on Facebook Saturday, March 16.
