Check out these fun games that help us celebrate “National Meatball Day”
According to a Mar. 9 report in “CBS New York”, March 9 is “National Meatball Day” and across the country families and restaurants are preparing lots of exciting meatball dishes.
Most people associate meatballs with Italian meals. While Italians may have popularized these little balls of meat however, meatballs appear in dishes around the world. They aren't always made of meat though. Have you tried goat, snake, rabbit and peacock balls? We haven't yet, but they're on our Bucket List.
In the meantime, to celebrate “National Meatball Day” we want to tell you about these free games that all involve meatballs.
Luigi's Place is lots of addicting fun. Your goal here is to help Luigi catch the meatballs to fill the dish of pasta by tilting your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. There are 3 different kinds of meatballs: Chunky, Beefy and Yucky. Be sure to put Chunky and Beefy in Luigi's dish. But don't catch Yucky. Yucky is the green meatball and will upset every customer's stomach (and cause you to lose the game). Free.
ZombieMeatballs HD is a cool game where you're a chef shooting zombies and turning them into meatballs. There are 30 levels to this running, jumping and shooting game. Along the way collect peppers and fruit for power-ups. You'll find surprises, jokes, amazing music and alternative endings. There is also Facebook and Twitter integration so you can play against your friends. Free.
These apps are compatible with iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. We'll be back next time with more news and free apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch! Happy “National Meatball Day”!
