Free internet

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to get free wireless internet at home. It would be helpful in so many ways, but isn't likely unless you have a neighbor who doesn't mind you using his. There are places where you can use free wireless in the Bangor area, though. You just have to know where to look.

Schools offer free wireless to their students, so your children can do their school work during study halls. If you attend college, you can use their wireless. If you know someone who goes to college, you might also be able to use the campus wireless service when visiting them.

The Bangor Public Library also offers wireless internet. This is a valuable resource regardless of what you have to do. This resource is great for those needing to study, people who work online, and even those wishing to play games. The library also has computers for you to use, in case you do not have a laptop.

Other businesses, such as restaurants, also provide wireless access to their customers. Simply ask when ordering your food. Generally speaking, no one will be bothered by your sitting at one of their tables for an hour or so, as long as you order from them. If you are going to be there for a while, be sure to at least order another soda after you have been there for a little while.
