Dallas residents will not want to miss the International Food Expo at Market Streets throughout the Metroplex this weekend. The free two day event will feature exceptional food, wine and desserts from familiar culinary powerhouses such as Italy, France and Spain. Attendees will also be able to sample ethnic food offerings from less familiar- but equally tasty-- cuisines from around the globe. You might discover a new favorite!
The International Food Expo will feature "ambassadors" from a variety of countries throughout the store dispensing cultural and nutritional information along with free samples from Market Street's extensive selection of ethnic foods, gourmet specialities and imported wines, including offerings from their impressive cheese department. Finish up your virtual culinary world tour with a dessert (or two) and you will not need to worry about cooking lunch when you get home.
What is better than a free lunch? Learning about foreign cuisines, cultures and food products you might not have tried otherwise, and discovering international products you can use at home to cook interesting and delicious meals for yourself and your family. Remember, the international foods showcased at Market Street this weekend are items that the store usually carries and are available for purchase year round.
This free event is well worth it, so mark your calendars. The International Food Expo will be held at Market Street locations throughout the DFW Metroplex this Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, from 11 am to 5 pm.
