Multiple Sclerosis Views and News invites you to a FREE informative and unique Multiple Sclerosis educational program on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest, 200 Interstate North Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia.
The educational seminar is sponsored with the help of a grant from Questcor Pharmaceuticals and in conjunction with Multiple Sclerosis Views and News. Check-in will begin at 11 am, presentation will follow at 11:30 am. A complimentary lunch will be served but seats are limited and reservations are required. Entry includes participant plus one (caregiver). No one under 16 years of age unless participant is a MS patient.
This unique educational program will be the first out-of-state educational program for the group that is located in Florida.
Key note speakers include:
Ben W. Thrower, M.D., MS Institute's Shepherd Center's Medical Director, Andrew C. Carlos and Occupational Therapist, Julie Huerbin. Speakers will be discussing topics related to:
- Emerging MS treatment therapies.
- Multiple Sclerosis general information for patient and caregiver.
- MS relapse, adherence, compliance and symptom management.
MS Views and News, a non-profit 501C3 organization has been dedicated to communicating issues regarding Multiple Sclerosis. In collaboration with other organizations the team's vision includes bridging the gap for all affected by MS since 2008, as well as educating patients and caregivers.
The non-profit is dedicated to the global collection and distribution of information regarding the often debilitating illness. Their goal is to provide education, information and resources to all affected by MS.
The group believes that by providing information and educational seminars live and on the internet, they will be able to address most of the questions and concerns often associated with the illness.

MS Views and News (MSVN) organization is run by volunteers which helps to keep the operating costs down. They seek experienced volunteers from all over the globe to help the organization grow and provide educational information.
Their coverage encompasses current treatments, information and medications from all over the world.
