September is Make-A-Wish month at Cold Stone Creamery, and all month long the ice cream establishment has been taking $1 donations for paper stars to display on their walls. On September 30, Cold Stone will host the 9th Annual World's Largest Ice Cream Social.
From 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, Cold Stone Creamery will be offering a free "Like It" (3 ounce) portion of "Kate's Creation" ice cream. Kate is an 11 year old girl whose wish was to create the ice cream that would be served in the World's Largest Ice Cream Social. Thanks to the folks at Make-A-Wish Foundation and Cold Stone, her wish will be realized on Thursday.
Kate's Creation ice cream is perfect for fall. It consists of caramel apple ice cream mixed with chocolate shavings, graham cracker pie crust, and apple pie filling. Flavors reminiscent of fall and a trip to the apple orchard and cider mill are a great way to celebrate the beginning of the season.
Come out and try this yummy concotion for free, and if you have the means, why not donate a dollar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation? That dollar can help make some other child's wish come true.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation's mission is to "grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy."
