You can see free entertainment, visit Santa Claus and see the National Christmas Tree and 56 state (and territory) trees in President's Park in back of the White House on the Ellipse leading up to Christmas.
And everything is free and no tickets or reservations are needed. Entertainment is featured each evening through Sunday, Dec. 22 and afternoons on the weekend. The forecast calls for warmer weather later in the week, so get out and enjoy.
Santa Claus will be attending his workshop on site thorough Sunday and also from 11 am to 3 pm on Christmas Eve for any list-minute gift requests.
For a complete schedule, see http://www.nps.gov/whho/national_christmas_tree.htm.
Watch the national tree and the toy train exhibits running around it.
Though entertainment stops at the end of the week, you can still visit the tree and exhibits between 10 am and 10 pm every day through Jan. 1.
