Starting the New Year off right by making the commitment to exercise and get in shape is a good thing. For those serious souls that made a promise to join a gym, the task of finding the right venue is often easier said than done. All gyms, health clubs and fitness centers are not created equal, but one tool can help to narrow the search and make a final decision so much easier - the free guest pass.
Most new gym members join the center where friends, or family work-out. The potential member will ask questions, and probably even attend the gym using a free guest pass. If they like it, they most likely will join. The best part is they know another member, and hopefully will have a dedicated, motivating gym buddy.
On the other hand, they only visited one gym. Other area fitness centers, health clubs and gyms may have different programs, features, payment plans etc. that are better suited, more affordable, or more convenient. GymTicket.com's mission is to help new and seasoned individuals find the right gym for their specific needs.
They do this by providing information and descriptions of more than 20,000 gyms. This includes discounts, special offers and free passes at nearly 2,000 U.S. facilities. Information can be requested by gym location, brand, or specialty. GymTicket.com's database is updated regularly so the information accessed pertaining to gym hours, photo galleries, promotions and virtual tours are always current.
Check out Gymticket's Philadelphia page. There are currently 22 gyms, health clubs, or fitness centers offering a free guest pass to visit and work-out in their facility.

I wish I knew about GymTicket when we were looking for a gym. I wound up just choosing the closest one but had to leave because they thought putting the AC on in the summer was a bad idea for the bodybuilders who wanted to sweat. Seriously!
