Free graphics for teachers (Photos)

Free lunches may be extinct but Melanie and Brett of New South Wales, Australia, are more than generous with their graphics creations and sharing where to find more teacher freebies.

Many of Melanie’s borders are offered as free downloads from her TeachersPayTeacher’s store. She started 'Graphics From the Pond' to combine a love of drawing, design and teaching. Her online store offers many products for reading and math that are ready to go, except for lamination to make them long lasting.

“Through my work on digital teaching resources, I came to see a need for fun graphics that were not too "busy," shares Melanie, an early childhood educator with a double degree in teaching and social science. Her goal is that “the actual content of the resource could shine through beyond the graphics.”

Melanie’s blog, Frog Spot, features free resources Friday, highlighting at least five free products for teachers than she’s found on the Web.
