Free giveaways include cars, money and vacations

Everyone likes to get something for free, especially if it is a car, money or a vacation. And March 27-31 you can still enter to win some of this free stuff and more, according to WTVR and other companies.

For example, as many as 5,000 different groups in the Freecycle Network are constantly offering up freebies to anyone who wants them, just to keep items from ending up in landfills and to make use of things rather than letting them go to waste, according to their website.

And then there are the companies like Publishers Clearing House (PCH), which has a plethora of free items to give away. Current promotions with them include their Giveaway #3726, which includes $100,000 for a home remodel, $75,000 for a dream kitchen, $50,000 for a dream car, $40,000 to spend on a sporting event attendance, and $30,000 for a big-city vacation.

Deadline for entry for those prizes is March 31, 2014, so you only have a few days left to enter to win them. But you have until April 21 to enter to win their $7,000 a week for life prize they plan to give away on April 30.

Steak 'N Shake Facebook is offering a free Snickers milkshake with any steakburger 'n fries purchase through March 28, but you better hurry as it ends on Friday.

If you live or plan to vacation in Orlando this year you need to check out the Kids Eat Free Card deal. Children 11 years old and younger can eat as many times as they want for free during a 90-day period as long as there is one full-price adult entree purchased at the participating restaurant at the same time. The card costs $19.99 per child.

A one-week vacation trip to Orlando would easily cost you much more than that per child if you ate out three or four times while in Florida. But if you eat out more meals than that you can really save money by buying it, especially if you live in the area, since it is good for three months after purchase.

Those 45 years old and older can have a chance at a free exotic vacation thanks to AARP's Travel Dream Vacation Sweepstakes. Every week for 10 weeks the company is giving away a different vacation to one lucky winner. Each opportunity will run from Monday through Sunday, with that week's drawing held the following Monday.

For example, last week the first dream vacation was offered. It was a river cruise in Europe. The winner for that drawing was held on Monday of this week. Through March 30 you can register to win the second week's prize, an Alaskan cruise for two valued at a little over $10,000. The prize includes coach-class roundtrip airfare for two, ground transportation to airport and port, seven nights accommodation in a balcony room on a Norwegian Cruise, as well as pre-paid gratuities, and a beverage and restaurant dining credit.

If it is diamonds you want, enter the Woman's World magazine diamond sweepstakes for a pair of Halo diamond earrings in white gold from Brilliance.

More sweepstakes are available, including giveaways for new clothes, shoes, and more, so be sure to Google the Pop Culture Examiner Radell Smith often to learn about the latest giveaways and deadlines for entry. And if you want a dream car, then enter the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge today.
