Free Gardener's Catalog Collector

Today’s freebie is a short emag called The Gardener’s Catalog Collector

Put together by Fine Gardening magazine, it contains two good articles, one on garden design (with gorgeous pictures) and one on an easy way to establish a new growing bed. It also has excerpts from three catalogs: Cricket Hill Garden, which sells beautiful, rare and unusual peonies; Conifer Kingdom, with dwarf conifers and lots of Japanese maples; and Select Seeds, selling unusual and heirloom seeds- they have some grape colored poppies I may need to buy this spring! These are all reputable companies (as far as I can find).

The magazine can be read in your browser as a Flash application or using the Fine Gardening iPad & iPhone app I did not try the iPad app but I assume it works fine.
