Start spring break off right at Discovery Green's FUNomenal Family Festival on Saturday, March 8th. This free annual event dedicated specifically to families starts officially at 11:45 am with a performance by Baby Isaac and Friends.

Throughout the day, festival-goers can enjoy music by kid DJ's while children have the chance to meet some of their favorite characters and princesses. Kids can also bounce in moonwalks, climb the rockwall, zip down giant slides, make their way through a jungle maze, complete an obstacle course, and have fun in a foam party, just to name a few of the festival's kid-friendly activities.

Arrive by 11 am to register your child (ages 6 months to 5 years) for participation in the Baby Olympics. The Olympic games run from 12 pm - 2 pm and include crawling and walking races for babies, as well as a few competitions designed for older kiddos. In addition to bragging rights, competitors have the chance to win medals, gift cards, and other great prizes.

The festival will be on Jones Lawn at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney Street, Houston, TX 77010.
