It’s not just a song by Sarah McLachlan anymore! On Saturday, January 12, 2013, Lowes will be holding on of their bi-weekly Build and Grow Clinic for children. This week’s project is a Mystery Kit! Clinics are for children age 5 and up.
Build and Grow Clinics are free and open to the public however you must register your child in order to attend. To register, click here. The clinics are run every other Saturday from 10 a.m. until n11 a.m.. First timers will receive a Lowe’s apron and safety goggles. For each craft that is completed the kids get patches (good news parents, they are iron-on!) to show off all of their accomplishments.
The Build and Grow Clinics allow children to learn safety rules when building and gives them a sense of pride with each finished project. The variety of projects teach skills such as hammering, painting, lining things up, as well as following directions (kids, don’t let your father tell you that you don’t need to read those!)
