Happy Indian Republic Day! What, you didn’t know that tomorrow is Indian Republic Day? Consider yourself advised. Be advised also that, in observance of the special occasion, Haveli Restaurant, in Forest Hills, Queens, is giving away the house.

The items, which are in three colors to represent the Indian tricolor, include tandoori chicken (orange), crispy okra (green, marinated in lime juice along with red onions and tomatoes), and rasmali (white and described appetizingly as cheese sponges soaked in saffron and pistachio-flavored milk).

If you can’t make it tomorrow, take comfort in knowing there is a consolation prize. Indian Republic Day will be celebrated through Feb. 14, 2013. The same three dishes will be discounted by 15 percent.

Haveli, 116-29/35 Queens Boulevard, Forest Hills, 718-261-8880/4.
