Watching the Seattle Mariners live is always a fun family activity but this Sunday is geared to kiddos 14 and under.
Kids Appreciation Day
Mariners vs. Athletics
Sunday, September 29 / 1:10 p.m.
1250 1st Ave S
The fun begins as the younger fans are all given a food voucher, a Mariner Moose poster and prize entry as they go through the entrance. The food coupon can be redeemed for a hot dog and soda pop from any Rolling Roof concession stand or a visit to The Natural concession stand at Section 133 for those with dietary restrictions.
Before finding your seats and eating, the whole family is invited down to the ball field for a pre-game parade from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Future Mariners can enjoy hanging around in their favorite player’s positions: providing a great picture opportunity.
The game begins at 1:10 p.m. with great prizes being drawn during the game for attending kiddos 14 and under. We are talking amazing prizes including:
2014 front row tickets
2014 first pitch opportunity
2014 pre-game experience: four tickets to a game, watch batting practice from the field and a photo on-field with a player
$250 Seattle Mariners Team Store shopping spree
Amazon Kindle Fire
Autographed Mariner jerseys and caps
Autographed team baseballs
Junior Broadcaster for a day (from Root Sports)
Nintendo 3DS XL & Game
Nintendo Wii U Deluxe & Game
If that isn’t enough, kiddos will get two cute Mariner finger puppets as they exit the stadium.
Mariners Kids Appreciation Day Tips:
Don’t miss the special Kids Fan Zone (near Section 184) with face painters, balloon artists, a Mariners prize wheel and more.
Pack healthy snacks your kids enjoy to keep their sugar intake (and the cost) down. Food brought into the ballpark must be wrapped, bagged or inside a container. Items such as apples and oranges must be quartered. No bottles, cans or outside beverages other than, baby bottles and unopened, soft-sided, single-serve containers (such as small milk cartons, juice boxes, etc.). Guests may bring in empty plastic bottles and fill them at any of the 66 drinking fountains located throughout the ballpark.
The Mariners Kids Appreciation Day is a great place to capture fun family photos. We even got a Christmas card with a shot taken at last year’s event where the entire family had on team shirts and caps: too cute!
