Free fly tying classes at Reno Orvis in February

Have you always wanted to learn to tie your own flies but just couldn’t find the time? Well, Orvis Reno has spots available for its Free Fly Tying 101 classes in February. The popular classes have filled up fast in January, but there are still spots open on Feb. 8, Feb. 15 and Feb. 22.

This free two-hour introductory fly tying lesson is set for these three Saturdays beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding around noon. Orvis staffers provide expert instruction and all tools and materials are supplied. Fly tying requires no special skills—anyone can learn the art form, and with a few hours of practice each week you’ll be cranking out terrific flies.

Tying your own flies adds so much to the fun of fly fishing. It adds a whole new dimension to the experience. To help you on your way, students in our free classes are entitled to a special discount on tools, materials and fly-tying kits, not to mention fly fishing gear as well.

Space is limited as classes are limited to about six or seven students, so don't delay. Contact Reno Orvis today. Keep watch on the Orvis Reno website as well as Fly Fishing 101, free fly fishing classes, are right around the corner as well.
