The second annual FUNomenal Family Festival is slated for Saturday, March 9, from 10 to 6 at Discovery Green. Pack up the whole family, canines included, and enjoy music by talented kid DJ's all day long while your little ones get creative at a variety of craft stations, learn some new moves at the dance workshop, or listen to stories read aloud (in English and Spanish). Inflatable zip lines, bounce houses, rock walls, trackless train rides, water slides, obstacle courses, and a foam party are some of the other activities scheduled to keep the kids entertained and expend their abundant energy.

Parents with kids 6 months to 5 years old can sign up on site at 11 am to participate in the Baby Olympics for a chance to win an "Olympic Medal" and an Ikea gift card. Categories include Crawling Race, Look Who's Walking, Obstacle Course, Rock and Roll, Daddy's Little Princess, and Mommy's Little Sport. Opening ceremonies start at noon with the final awards ceremony at 2 pm. Kids can participate in more than one event category, but space is limited.
