Free family Christmas activities in Boston that involve history: conclusion

Boston is one of the most historic cities in the United States with a history that reaches back to before the American Revolution. As such, it is filled with parks and landmarks that are completely entwined with the history of the entire nation. Around Christmas, the holiday is often celebrated at these places with free events that are great for family fun. 
 
Christmas Concert by the Apollo Club
 
The Apollo Club is the oldest men's chorus in Boston and the second oldest in the United States. It was started in 1871 and the 30-man group has been consistently together since that time. On December 13, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Apollo Club will be performing a Christmas Concert at the Boston Public Library's Raab Concert Hall. The concert is free to the public.

A few days before the holiday concert, the Apollo Club will be performing at The Beacon Hill Holiday Stroll. The "Holiday Stroll" takes place on Charles Street on December 8. The club will begin their performance at 6:00 p.m.
