There is a lot going on around town this week and once again, the San Francisco Public Library brings the free fun. Besides the daily story times, homework help and craft making programs, this week they are also offering a magic show and a Lego building club.
The magic show is tonight from 7:00 – 7:45 p.m. at the Ingleside branch starring Al Fedor. A little on the late side for the younger kids, but you can still have them to bed in the eight o’clock hour.
The Build It! Lego Club is tomorrow, Thursday January 31, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in North Beach at the Joe DiMaggio Playground Clubhouse. This is a monthly program for children ages 5-12 years and while hosted by the library, this month it takes place offsite.
Check the SFPL website for more free fun events for kids of all ages.
There are a few other free events coming up that I have written about in the past. Rather than repeating myself, I will list them along with links so you can check them out if interested.
UCSF School of Dentistry: Give Kids a Smile Day on February 2nd with free checkups and cleanings.
Bank of America: Free museum weekend on February 2nd and 3rd.
IHOP: Free Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 5th from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
