On Thursday, June 19, Chicago's North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau(CNSCVB) hosts a June Breakfast Networking Event starting at 8 a.m. at Sweety Pies Bakery on 8042 Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Over coffee and the Kruger Family’s handmade sweets, CNSCVB members can mix and mingle. The Village of Rosemont and MB Financial Park have launched the Big Ten Experience, a digital museum exhibition at 5440 Park Place in Rosemont. In addition to 13 interactive displays, there is a Big Ten Theater which shows behind-the-coverage of student-athletes as well as broadcast accomplishments of Big Ten members on and off the field. “This exhibit provides the perfect way to celebrate the diverse and talented participants of the Big Ten,” said Rosemont’s Mayor Brad Stephens. “It will bring a fresh and excited audience to MB Financial Park that will enhance the Rosemont community.” The free exhibit can be seen from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
