Free event in Fort Collins: “Defending the Dream”

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Americans For Prosperity will present a free event at The Lodge at Mckenzie Place with speaker Barry Farah.

From meager beginnings, Barry started out selling flashlights at age 8, and grew up to become an entrepreneur, author and adventurer. He will share “Why Economic Freedom is the Key for America’s Revial” and maybe even talk about the "good old days" when America celebrated opportunity with less intrusive regulations. He will also set out a roadmap to help those concerned with protecting economic freedom. He’s lived the American Dream and has got a firsthand account of the blessings of economic freedom and a vision for the future.

Farah developed his companies GAAP Solutions, LLC and the Personnel Department, Inc, which serve small to medium businesses with a full range of professional employer services. He sold his branch offices, which serve clients in forty states and six countries from their headquarters in Colorado Springs. That’s just the start of what he’s accomplished, including authoring “Customer Success” in 1998, challenging readers to proactively focus on the well-being of the customer.

Like most conservatives, Farah is actively involved in non-profit organizations, including founding board member for The Classical Academy charter school (elementary through high school). The charter school boasts a 9,000 student waiting list.

Enjoy an evening of dinner, education, and fun with Americans For Prosperity in Fort Collins. Location: The Lodge at Mckenzie Place, 4751 Pleasant Oak Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80525. Map link.
