Free event for special needs kids

Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting their 29th annual Special Day for Special Kids on March 29th, 2014. The free event is held at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park from 10am-2pm.

Admission, rides, fair and food for the kids and their families is completely free. Featured rides and events include Paradise and Pacific Railroad, Scottsdale Charros Carousel, McCormick Historical Railroad Exhibit, Model Railroad Exhibit and Arboretum Railroad. Additional event booths will be set up exclusively for this event including face painting and games.

Available food will include free hot dogs, chips, ice cream, and beverages donated by Food and beverages were donated by Albertson's, Bars-S, Frito-Lay, Bluebell Ice Cream, Reddy Ice, and Gatorade.

Special guest appearances include Ronald McDonald, Cardinal’s Big Red and cheerleaders, Suns Gorilla and Scottsdale Police and Fire. There is so much going on that everyone is sure to have a pleasant and fun filled experience.
