Free national parks entrance on September 25
Saturday, September 25 is Public Lands Day and more than 100 national parks are free - Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Glacier, Saratoga, Valley Forge, Fort Sumter, and many more!
You can also get discounts to Glacier National Park (MT), Mesa Verde National Park (CO), Everglades National Park (FL), and Olympics National Park (WA). Check out these national park deals and savings here.

Free entrance to museums on September 25
If national parks and the outdoors aren't your thing, enjoy free entrance to some great museums all over the country. September 25 is Museum Day and cities all over the country will be opening their doors for free.
In California, visit a number of museums in the San Francisco and Sacramento areas as well as many of the surrounding communities. See museums like The California Museum, The California Automobile Museum, California Academy of Sciences, Chinese Historical Society of America, and many more!
If you want a list of museums in your town or city check the Smithsonian's website to get a list of free museums in your area.
Whatever your plans are this weekend, there is no better way to enjoy the outdoors or to learn something new with the free entrances to national parks and museums this weekend!
