Free entrance days at National Parks on February 15-17

It’s the perfect weekend for a getaway. From February 15-17, national parks will waive the entrance fees in honor of President’s Day weekend. There are 401 national parks, of which only 133 charge an admission fee. Over President’s Day weekend, you will be able to enter and enjoy any of the national parks for free. Several wonderful national parks are within easy driving distance of San Jose, including:

The National Park Service web site is an easy-to-navigate site that contains park descriptions, operating hours, directions, maps, and lists of things to do.
