Free Elvis crochet afghan pattern

The day that Elvis passed away I was a young girl living in Milwaukee and like everyone else was stunned to hear the news. Elvis is a music icon and to this day people enjoy collecting Elvis memories.

Whether you are an Elvis fan or not crocheting an Elvis afghan for someone special will make a great gift for an Elvis Presley fans. An Elvis afghan would make a great bed cover, wall hanging, or a warm afghan to snuggle in on cold nights.

There are some free patterns for Elvis afghans available on line, and the links can be found below.  First, it's easy to create your own Elvis afghan from a photo.  Using a free software called KnitPro you can turn a photo into a graph and print out. Try to print the dark part of the graph as black as possible.  Mark off each row as you crochet the pattern.

There are some wonderful free Elvis crochet patterns that can be printed and crocheted also.  The patterns have row counts, colors, and some advice for changing colors. There are not any instructions for stitch count or crocheting a chain but the rows can be counted to complete the projects. All are crocheted using single crochet.
