Free DLC to celebrate Magicka's 2 year anniversary

Magicka is celebrating its 2 year anniversary with birthday presents all around.

First of all, the game is free-to-play for the weekend, until Sunday, January 20th at 1pm PST. This gives gamers the opportunity to not only have a feel for the full game, but to be able to celebrate this birthday weekend with other Magicka players.

There are also some game deals during this anniversary celebration. The full game is currently $2.49 on Steam, which is 75% off the original price of $9.99. You can also buy a 4-pack and give away the additional copies to your friends. All of the DLC for Magicka is also 75% off, which makes each less than $1.

Amazon PC is also running 75% off the standard edition of the game.

For those that already have Magicka, a free DLC is available to download called Jólnir's Workshop. This workshop includes a new challenge with 20 waves of blizzards and beasts.

New enemies in this DLC include Autonomous Cannons, Goblin Snow Troopers and the Eismacher.

Since its release in 2011, Magicka has sold 1.8 million copies. It is an action adventure, RPG featuring Norse mythology and wizards.
