Angela’s Happy Stamper is hosting their annual Winter Open House on Saturday, January 26, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. If you have never attended one, you are definitely in for a treat. If you have attended one, then you know what great fun you will have, especially with the addition of two new stamping and paper companies to the store.
Free Demos: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.:

- Working with the Kool Tak Layer Perfect Tool
- Creating Cards with Honeypop
- Fun with Sticky Stuff Embossing Powder
Make-and-Takes: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ($20.00):
- Hanging Altered Cookie Cutter featuring Stampendous Frantage
- Impress Art Metal Keychain
- Take Out Box with Paper Fortune Cookies
- Double Dutch Door Card
There will also be two Stamp Swaps at 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. For each swap that you can attend, bring a new or gently used stamp to give. Please bring it wrapped so that it will be a surprise. Everyone that participates goes home with a stamp. No need to sign up in advance.
Be sure to stop by and enjoy the refreshments, door prizes, shopping and stamp swamp, but remember that only ticket holders will be admitted into the Make-and-Take area. Tickets must be purchased in advance for the Make-and-Take session; you do not have to reserve space for the Free Demos.
You will receive a goody bag just for attending the Winter Open House (one per household). In addition to a goody bag you will also receive a door prize ticket – door prizes will be given out every 20 minutes! Additional door prize tickets are given to those who participate in the Community Outreach Project – Food For Others.
Food For Others is Northern Virginia’s primary safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes, and for the growing number of working poor who are unable to make ends meet and need to supplement their inadequate food supplies.
They are currently in great need of the following items:
- Canned meats
- Canned chili
- Canned fruit
- Canned pastas
- Macaroni & Cheese
Other requested items include:
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly/Jam
- Pasta sauce
- Rice
- Fruit juice
- Coffee
- Tea
