A series of free seminars coming to central Florida will give you the opportunity to learn techniques for targeting American shad and crappie from Captains Tom Van Horn, Chris Myers and Charlie McCullough. The seminar dates are as follows:
Saturday, December 11th - 10:00 AM to noon, in the Outback at Mosquito Creek Outdoors, 170 South Washington Ave., Apopka Florida. The seminar, "Preparing for the Shad Run & Crappie Season" will be held in conjunction with the Shad and Crappie Derby Registration Meeting.
Saturday, January 22nd - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Boat Tree Marina in Sanford, "Catching American Shad & Crappie".
Saturday, February 12th - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Jolly Gator Fish Camp adjacent to CS Lee Park in Geneva, "Shad Fishing Tactics".
All seminar events include sponsor displays, giveaways and raffles with all proceeds going to Anglers for Conservation's Hook Kids on Fishing Program.
