Free Computer Classes for Walton County Parents

Walton County Schools is offering a series of FREE computer classes for parents through its Title I Program. Classes began this past Thursday, January 21, 2010 and will continue every Thursday until February 11, 2010. Each class will meet at the Board of Education Complex located at 200 Double Springs Church Road in Monroe with class time starting at 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

And if free computer training was not enough, dinner and childcare will also be provided! Walton County Schools seems to be concerned with not only the children in their system but helping the entire family succeed. The topics covered range from how to get the most out of your computer and basic computer navigation to working with pictures and online shopping.

Class sizes are limited and you do not have to participate in the entire series. Pre-registration is required, contact Theresa Thompson for registration and more information.
