Due to the overwhelming success of its FREE companion airfare offer, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is extending this deal providing more time to escape the snow sweeping across the U.S.

Travelers who book by March 3rd will receive free companion airfare or air credit for bookings of four nights, allowing for affordable travel year-round. Choose from more than 40 participating properties throughout Nassau/Paradise Island, Grand Bahama Island and the Out Islands. The offer is valid for travel now through Dec. 22, 2010, blackout dates do apply.

Travelers looking for pure relaxation and barefoot elegance can visit any of the participating hotels in the Out Islands including the Abaco Club on Winding Bay and Treasure Cay Hotel Resort & Marina. Those looking for soft adventure activities can visit any of the participating hotels on Grand Bahama Island including the Radisson Our Lucaya Grand Bahama Island and Pelican Bay at Lucaya. Family-friendly activities, fine dining and glamorous nightlife abound in Nassau/Paradise Island where travelers can stay at any of the participating hotels including Atlantis Paradise Island, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort and Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island.     Great deal for travelers, but the destination is showing desperation by offering free air anytime of year, let alone during peak season. Wow!
