Free closing night films at Col Coa Festival

Eager to see a U.S. premiere of a French film? Col Coa, City of Lights, City of Angels, celebrates the end of their French film festival on Monday, April 28, 2014 with the choice of two free film screenings - Mea Culpa and In the Courtyard. Both films start at 7:45 p.m. at the Directors Guild (DGA), located at 7920 Sunset Boulevard. One will run in the larger Renoir Theater, and the other will screen in the smaller Truffaut Theater. Don't fret about your French - they both have English subtitles.

Mea Culpa is a fast-paced chase film that never lets up for 90 minutes. It stars Vincent Lindon and Gilles Lellouche. Click here to watch the trailer.

In Dans La Cour (In the Courtyard), a down on his luck, alcoholic ex-rock singer's life changes when he winds up becoming a concierge at a Parisian apartment building that has seen better days. This 97-minute film stars Catherine Deneuve and opens in France on April 23rd. You can watch the trailer, which lacks subtitles, here. Both of these premieres are screened out of competition.
