Free Circus 4 the People show Sunday, July 25

If you’re looking for some entertainment that’s a little different – and maybe a little sexy – check out CircX VorteX’s Circus 4 the People, Sunday, July 25.

Described as a modernistic, vaudevillian circus, the show takes place at the Vortex Theatre, starting at 8 p.m., and features a variety of local circus performers, including aerialists, fire dancers, bellydancers, puppet theater artists and more. Live musical entertainment, local artists and vendors round out the show, which is the product of a partnership between the Sky Candy Aerial Collective and CircX VorteX.

Sunday’s performance is scheduled to run from 8 p.m. until midnight. It’s billed as free, but the collective relies on donations to produce the show, so consider bringing a donation for the hours of fascinating entertainment. The Vortex Theater is located just east of downtown at 2307 Manor Road.
