Ben Franklin quipped “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” His words of wisdom ring true for Christmas plays. Finding ways to incorporate young and old, talented and simply willing not only increase audience size, but also serve to “write on the hearts” of the participants.
Choral readings are a terrific and easy way to stage a Christmas event with less preparation but greater involvement since cast is not limited. Projecting lines for audience participation is easy too. Check out these free downloadable resources.
