People across the country were excited to hear about the free Chick-fil-A breakfast offer going on this week, but it seems many will be left disappointed. The Christian Post shared the scoop on the offer on Sept. 9, but it seems the franchise has already maxed out on the giveaway.
The “Breakfast on Us” promotion offered a free Chick-fil-A breakfast entree to customers who essentially reserved a spot on their promotion's web page. Unfortunately it didn't take long for them to stop taking responses. By mid-day Monday those visiting the “Breakfast on Us” page saw a message that said the response was overwhelming, and there is no further opportunity to get an “invitation” for the event.
The free Chick-fil-A breakfast promotion was part of the chain's efforts to expand their morning business. Seeing that the promotion has filled up already, it seems customers are up for giving their morning entrees a try. Will the new breakfast customers stick around and come back for paid meals? Obviously that's the hope of the company, but it will take some time to see if it works. Luckily fans of the franchise know that this type of promotion happens somewhat regularly for Chick-fil-A customers, so now they know to sign up immediately the next time it rolls around.
