Free character transfers for select 'World of Warcraft' servers

While many servers are seeing better populations due to realm connections, "World of Warcraft" players on already populated servers are sometimes saddled with a queue at login. To relieve some of that wait time, free server transfers off of full servers will be available in the coming days.

Community Manager Bashiok announced the news on the official forums on Saturday. Players from Area 52 and Stormrage can move to Turalyon. Gamers from Tichondrius and Illidan can transfer to Blackrock, and people on Bleeding Hollow and Darkspear can relocate to Korgath.

The move is optional, but players wanting an easier time logging in are urged to use the free service. The free transfer is scheduled to be available for about a week or until the destination realms meet a predetermined capacity. Once a character is transferred it will cost the normal character transfer fee to move again in the future.
