RecruitMilitary Veteran Franchise Centers, LLC (VFC) has formed a partnership with FranMatrix to provide free franchise candidate assessments to military veterans who are interested in franchise ownership. The assessments will provide insight into the veterans’ skills and personalities, and will help them answer the question, “How do I leverage my experience and skills in franchising?”
VFC is a service for veterans who are interested in starting their own businesses. The VFC program includes a number of free features, including comprehensive financial assessment, franchise education, and a personality profile and skills assessment. VFC is an affiliate company of the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary, which is headquartered in Loveland, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
FranMatrix, located in Newport Beach, California, has developed a suite of services exclusively for franchisors. These include tools that assess how well franchisees and key employees of franchises will perform. Assessments are Internet-enabled and private labeled.
“The FranMatrix tool will help VFC and our veterans better understand their strengths and weaknesses and determine options which best suit their skills and personalities,” said Richard Ashe, president of VFC and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. “I have had the privilege of speaking with thousands of veterans who are interested in business ownership, and one of the significant challenges is that their interests do not always match their skill sets. We chose to partner with FranMatrix because we believe it is extremely important for veterans to understand themselves and select the right investment opportunities. The FranMatrix tool is straightforward and easy to use.”
“We are proud to have donated the FranMatrix tool to VFC for this initiative,” said Mike Herrera, founder and CEO of FranMatrix and a Certified Franchise ExecutiveTM (CFE). “The talent pool among the men and women who have served in the military is vast. With the proper information, education, and guidance, our hope is many will choose franchise business ownership.”
