Free ‘build’ events in September

The Home Depot Kids Workshop is open to all children ages 5 to 12. On Saturday, September 6, local Home Depots will host a ‘Build a Wizard of Oz TM Birdhouse.’ It begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 12 noon, or until supplies run out. All children who attend will receive their craft, a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron, and a commemorative pin. If possible, register in advance on their website:

Lowe’s Home Improvement will be offering their free Build and Grow Kids Clinics on Saturday, September 13 at 10 a.m. Parents should register in advance to make sure that there is a local Lowe’s offering the clinic, and in order to ensure that there are enough materials. Registration can be done through their website.
The September Build and Grow is a set of binoculars.
