Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to bring any books, CDs, tarot decks, and DVDs, with which they are willing to part. Drop items off at the booth and receive a single ticket for each item. Everyone who receives a ticket can come back at 430pm to pick up whatever items appeal to them, or they may retrieve the items they brought in.
This is a great way to pass on items which have already served their purpose and to pick up something new and different. Items need not be Pagan-themed, but the larger the book swap, the greater potential to find something unique or informative, and Pagan items certainly would fit the theme of the day.
Participants are encouraged to keep in mind that there is no guarantee that they will find an item they really like, and their item may be worth more or less than another swap item. Fellow swappers may bring items which fall under any of a number of subjects; participants can see this as a great opportunity to find something they normally would not try. The best part of the swap: it's free!
